Berberine belongs to a class of naturally occurring alkaloids found in the roots, rhizomes, and stem bark of a number of plant species. Studies with berberine in people with diabetes show that it exerts multiple beneficial effects on glucose and lipid metabolism.† Derived berberine is provided as berberine hydrochloride, the best studied form.

Microcrystalline cellulose, vegetarian capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, water), stearic acid, and silicon dioxide.

Suggested Use

2 capsules, 1 to 2 times daily or as directed by a healthcare professional.
